The Cover Picture
The cover this autumn is of a group of young
people celebrating the opening of a specially built skate park.
Built next to the Bowling Green at Wandle Park this £60K
facility has seen an impressive take up since being unveiled
at the end of September (in the pouring rain!).

From our point of view it has brought new
life to an otherwise underused park and has had the added benefit
of removing skaters from inappropriate sites on College Green
and elsewhere across the borough to take a look just get
off the tram at Wandle Park! (in-line skates or a BMX are optional)

Officer, Croydon Council.
